Welcome to Mr. Convenience, a proud third-generation family business rooted in Toronto since 1972. Founded by Bernie Small alongside his three sons—Gerry, Ted, and Elliot—the journey began with a simple vision: to provide accessible rental options for those who needed them most.

Starting from "small" beginnings, the Smalls pooled their savings to purchase a truck and opened a small store on Weston Road, initially focusing on appliances. Their dedication and hard work allowed them to expand their inventory to include a wide range of home furniture rentals, serving Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and beyond.

Today, 50 years later, the legacy continues with Gerry and Ted's sons, Mitch and Daniel, who have joined the family business to modernize operations and ensure the evolving needs of our customers are met, both on the rental & purchase side. With a deeper focus on retirement living, we pride ourselves on now offering permanent modern furniture solutions to retirement living communities who value white glove service, quick turnaround, & reliability. ​
